Description of the Endless GFX Fiberglass Kayak

The Endless GFX is the first fiberglass kayak from DesignKayaks. GFX stands for Glass Fiber eXcellence. This fiberglass material makes the kayak both lighter and faster compared to the equivalent Endless model in plastic.

About the Endless Fiberglass Kayak

The Endless fiberglass model retains the same excellent paddling characteristics as the plastic version. Its long, narrow design with a rounded hull creates a stunning kayak with an ultra-smooth glide through the water. A long waterline and low fore and aft decks make the Endless kayak highly directional and minimally affected by wind. The Endless kayak is a sea kayak designed for forward momentum, making it ideal for long trips. The large oval hatches make it easy to pack gear, while the adjustable backrest enhances comfort during extended journeys.

Carbon Seat and Exceptional Comfort

The ergonomic carbon seat is paired with an extra-padded, adjustable backrest that can be adjusted with the ratchet and straps system while seated in the kayak. This gives you as a paddler unparalleled comfort and allows you to do longer hours of touring and exercising.

Size Guide for the Endless Fiberglass Kayak

Height, weight, and hip/thigh volume are crucial factors in determining the right size for you.

Recommended sizing
Regular: 160–190 cm, up to approximately 85 kg.
Large: 170–210 cm, from approximately 85 kg (individuals over 110 kg may find the cockpit narrow).

Are you between Regular and Large?
If you have broader hips and thighs, prefer more comfort, or need extra capacity for luggage, opt for the Large. If you prioritize technical paddling and increased body contact with the kayak, choose the Regular. If you’re already familiar with the Endless plastic model, note that the Endless fiberglass kayak is slightly more spacious than the plastic version.
